Work Experience @ Newark Advertiser

As of tomorrow I am doing a weeks work experience at my local newspaper, Newark Advertiser.

In Level 2 of my Journalism studies at University College Falmouth next year I will have to do work experience as part of my course, so I thought that I would volunteer at my local paper over the summer to get some basic experience before being pushed into the deep end.

When I do this next Easter I will have to post everyday about the experience, so I’m going to do that this time around as well. It’ll be useful over my course, and will also give me something to do at the end of the day.

For now, I have to be up early for my first 9-5 hour shift tomorrow so I’ll post more over the week.
