(Written for the Falmouth Navigator).
A new website launched this week, specialising in quality student accommodation in Falmouth and its surrounding areas.
For students who are still house hunting this term, Diggs Cornwall are a group of student accommodation providers and dedicated property managers set up to help students find accommodation.
Digs have recently set up an office in Falmouth town centre and their newly launched website lists all of their available property, including apartments at The View as well as houses from private landlords.
Their office is run by Kirsten Pepper, the Lettings Manager, and Danni Toy, the Lettings Negotiator. Both have a lot of experience in the accommodation sector and also with working at University College Falmouth itself.
They offer a “friendly yet professional approach” and pride themselves on having the time to deal with both students and landlords as individuals, offering the service they expect and deserve.
Unlike most student letting agents, Digs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with their own dedicated maintenance team to ensure that any issues or emergencies are dealt with quickly.
So if you are still having trouble finding accommodation for the next university year, you can contact Digs by:
– Registering on their website and searching their property list online
– Visiting their office which is located on the Moor, open 9am-5pm
– Emailing them at info@digscornwall.co.uk
– Or contacting Kirsten or Danni directly at 01326 218427
Alternatively, there is also UCF’s accommodation list which is regularly updated with houses, flats and lodgings that are still available.
This is a great idea, more schools should have something like this.
