Warner Bros have reported this week that all Harry Potter theatrical film titles will soon disappear from our shelves.
As of 29th December, 2011, Warner Bros will stop shipping all Harry Potter theatrical film titles, including the recent releases of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection, but not including anything digital – Electronic Sell-Through & VOD – or games.
The number one motion picture franchise of all time grossed more than $12.1 billion for Warner Bros. The reason behind their decision has been given no explanation, but this sad news is sure to drive sales over the next couple of months.
So if you’re a Harry Potter fan, put this one on your Christmas list as it just might be your last chance.
