HBO have a released a first-look trailer for Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated fantasy drama Game of Thrones this week.
The series first aired in April, and was created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Based on author George R. R. Martin‘s best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels, Game of Thrones is set in the medieval fantasy world of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and, filmed in Northern Ireland, chronicles the violent struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne.
In August we introduced you to the 23 new British cast members for Season 2. This week, we have a new teaser trailer which includes footage from new season as well as comments by the series writers/executive producers Benioff and Weiss.
The series will return with all-new episodes in April. Here’s what you can look forward to:
