A new poster for science fiction film Chronicle has been released this week, and if you haven’t already seen the trailer for this film, I recommend that you carry on reading.
Set in found footage format, three high school friends (Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan) gain superpowers after making an incredible discovery. It’s not long until they find their lives spinning out of control though, as they begin to embrace their darker sides.
Directed by Josh Trank, the trailer, which can be seen below, will undoubtedly get you looking forward to this exciting take on this found footage style filming. With the mass of other films currently experimenting with the camera-footage/documentary style genre, Chronicle looks like it will be a fresh of breath air, with a less-horror more-action filled film that you may actually be able to enjoy without being scared out of your skin.
Chronicle also stars Michael Kelly and Ashley Hinshaw and is set to be released on 1st February, 2012. See the full poster and the film’s trailer below:
