Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg Get Their Pen and Paper Out To Start Writing ‘The World’s End’

Tweeting earlier this month, Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg are finally “hard at work” on their latest project, The World’s End, the third and final film in their Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy.

The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, which reference to the Cornetto ice cream flavors featured in all of the films, is a series of films directed by Wright, written by Wright and Pegg, and starring Pegg and Nick Frost.

The World’s End will follow on from it’s predecessors Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007), and is set to be released sometime in 2014.
