The first set images for British actor Daniel Radcliffe‘s latest film, Kill Your Darlings, have been released this week. Written and directed by John Krokidas, Radcliffe plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg, which, as shown below, give a first look at him in character as he gives fellow cast member Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) a big cuddle.
Revolving around the relationship between Ginsberg (Radcliffe), authors Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston) and William S. Burroughs (Ben Foster), and the man who brought them together, Lucien Carr (DeHaan), Kill Your Darlings isn’t your typical drama; this is a thriller, as the plot opens up to reveal that Carr served time for the murder of his lover, David Kammerer (Michael C. Hall), in 1944, which begins to both draw together and test the character’s friendships.
Also starring Elizabeth Olsen and Kyra Sedgwick, Kill Your Darlings is set to be released sometime in 2013.
