A brilliant new trailer has been released for Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Huntsman this week. Showing the darkest side to the film yet, the new trailer shows off a lot of new footage, contrasting scenes of war, monstrous creatures and the magical depths of the forest.
A dark twist on the classic fairytale, Snow White And The Seven Dwarves, the film follows a Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) who is ordered to take Snow White (Kristen Stewart) into the woods to kill her, but who winds up becoming her protector in a quest to defeat the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron).
The trailer puts a better focus on Stewart’s Snow White character her, as previous clips haven’t given enough to make a judgment on her portrayal of the beautiful princess. Shown alongside footage of Theron’s evil Queen that we don’t need any encouragement from, if you weren’t looking forward to the release of this then you definitely will be now.
Set to be released on June 1st, the film also stars Sam Claflin, Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, and Lily Cole.
