Iron Man 3 Extras Get Flung Through The Air…

A whole sequence of photos have leaked from the set of Shane Black‘s Iron Man 3 this week, showing a number of people being pulled up in to the air, suspended from cables connected to a crane high up in the air.

The photos were taken as work on the Iron Man 3 production continued along the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington during the filming of a stunt on Monday 16th July.

I think it’s supposed to look like Iron Man is holding on to all of them like a chain of a Barrel of Monkeys, but as you flick through the images you will be able to see for yourself.

Set to be released on 26th April, 2013, the plot for Marvel’s anticipated sequel to the Iron Man franchise is currently unknown, but it will see the return of Robert Downey Jr. as the metal-suited superhero, Gwyneth Paltrow as his love-interest Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes aka War Machine, as well as Ben Kingsley as the super villain The Mandarin, Rebecca Hall as biologist Maya Hansen, Ashley Hamilton as Jack Taggert, the pilot of an experimental suit, and Guy Pearce as scientist Aldrich Killian.
