With the annual BAFTAs airing on BBC One later this evening, here’s a list of the nominations, my predictions and hopes for the ceremony, and I will update the post tomorrow with the winners of this year’s awards.

Predictions: Tough one. Anna Karenina was beatiful and I think Wright deserves the award for the risk he took, but Hooper’s Les Mis had stunning camera work and Life Of Pi was just a marvel to watch. I’d be happy with any of them to win it.

It will be interesting to see the outcome of this. I was surprised The Hobbit wasn’t nominated for more awards but happy to see Seven Psychopaths up there. I think Les Mis should take the most awards and well deserved as well.
