“It starts with a shocking accusation…”

Rating:
I’ve read two of Lapena’s books before, A Stranger In The House and An Unwanted Guest, and thought both were easy but immensely exciting reads, so I was really excited to pick up another book by her.
The End Of Her is another brilliantly plotted thriller with great twists and intricate detail. However, I just didn’t find this one very exciting.
Thinking back on it, I really liked the way the story developed and how everything unfolded. But at the time of reading it, I just didn’t feel very enthusiastic about any of it. I feel like I’ve read something similar before, but I also feel like it felt very original at the same time.
So I don’t know? Overall, this one was very hit and miss for me. Still, I’m definitely looking forward to reading Lapena’s other books soon.
