From Pirates of The Caribbean to a host of Tim Burton films, Johnny Depp goes all out when it comes to acting, and it’s very rare that he doesn’t give a performance that you’ll be talking about for the rest of the year.

I don’t think it would be possible for anybody to have a favourite actors list without ever mentioning the lovable Tom Hanks. Whether it be the voice of Woody in Pixar’s Toy Story or as the non-stop champion that is Forrest Grump, he’s had a role that everybody will have a favourite of.

Most recently known for his role as a young Magneto in the latest X-Men franchise, Michael Fassbender is most credible for his compelling performances in a number of hard-hitting true stories, most notably alongside directed Steve McQueen. It certainly took a few bad films to get him there, but he is now one of the best working actors around.

She’s since gone onto to star alongside Michael Fassbender in Shame and Ryan Gosling in Drive, as well as leading the BBC TV drama, Collateral.
Released in cinemas today, Emma Watson stars in the psychological thriller, Regression, alongside Ethan Hawke in one of her most hard-hitting roles to date.

With The Hunger Games franchise establishing Jennifer Lawrence as the highest-grossing action heroine of all time, it’s her first roles in the TBS sitcom The Bill Engvall Show and the independent films The Burning Plain and Winter’s Bone, for which she received her first Academy Award nomination, that made her an actress to keep an eye on.
Since then, Lawrence has won an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, and a BAFTA, as well as a number of other awards, with Rolling Stone commenting in 2012 that she is “the most talented young actress in America”.
From stumbling up the stairs after winning her first Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook to her adorable honesty and natural wit in interviews, Lawrence is undeniably one of the best actresses around at the minute. So let’s take a look at five of her best performances.

From a foul-mouthed, kick-ass superhero to a fresh-faced, telekinetic Carrie White, Chloe Grace Moretz has been acting since the age of seven, winning an impressive total of 15 various young talent awards over her eight years on the silver screen.
With her first two appearances in two episodes of the TV series The Guardian (2001) and her first movie role was in Heart of the Beholder (2005), she has since has had a number of recurring TV roles including Kiki George in Dirty Sexy Money and Sherri Maltby in Desperate Housewives, and was also the voice of the Darby in the popular children’s animated TV series My Friends Tigger & Pooh,
But it wasn’t her later performance in The Amityville Horror (2005) remake that she earned some greater recognition and has since gone onto films such as Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, and the film adaptation of The 5th Wave.
