Dinsey’s latest live action film, Tomorrowland, is directed Brad Bird and co-written by Bird and Damon Lindelof. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius inventor Frank (George Clooney) and optimistic teen Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright young girl bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place known as Tomorrowland, that exists only in their collective memory.

Film Review: Gravity

The science-fiction thriller of the year, if not the decade, and directed by Alfonso CuarĂ³n, Gravity follows the brilliant medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) on her first shuttle mission, along with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes; the shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky to work together to survive after the accident leaves them completely alone and adrift in space, tethered to nothing but each other and spiralling out into the blackness. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left.

Film Review: The Descendants

Directed by Alexander Payne, The Descendants is an adaptation of Kaui Hart Hemmings‘ novel of the same name, which follows Matt King (George Clooney), a Honolulu-based lawyer and the trustee of a large part of land on the Hawaiian island of Kaua’i which was trusted to his family. When his wife falls into a fatal coma after a boating accident, Matt is forced to reconnect with his two daughters, 17-year-old Alexandra (Shailene Woodley) and 10-year-old Scottie (Amara Miller), but the subsequent revelation of his wife’s affair could mean that plan to sell his land has been thrown into the works, as his life begins to intertwine with that of Brian Speer (Matthew Lillard) and his wife Julie (Judy Greer).

Film Review: Fantastic Mr. Fox

Directed by Wes Anderson and based on Roald Dahl‘s children’s novel, an urban fox (voiced by George Clooney) and his wife (Meryl Streep) who live in an idyllic home life with their son Ash (Jason Schwartzman) and visiting young nephew Kristopherson (Eric Anderson). But Mr. Fox can’t resist returning to his farm-raiding ways and must help his animal community survive when the farmers – Boggis (Robin Hurlstone), Bunce (Hugo Guinness) and Bean (Michael Gambon) – are forced to retaliate.
