New ‘This is 40’ Poster Defies Personal Boundaries

(Written for Lost In The Multiplex)

Judd Apatow’s ‘sort of’ sequel to Knocked Up, This Is 40, has a new funny poster this week.

With Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) reprising their roles from the original film to take the leads, the film picks up with the family a few years later when Pete’s music label is struggling and Debbie’s vanity business, a dress shop staffed by Desi (Megan Fox) and Jodi (Charlyne Yi), needs to cover the household budget.

The new poster, which can be seen below, shows how comfortable, not necessarily in a good way, the couple have become with their lives after years of marriage. I can’t wait to see more of the on-screen couple, it certainly looks promising.

Film Review: Get Him To The Greek

Rating:

Get Him To The Greek is a spin-off to 2008’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall, both directed by Nicholas Stoller and written by Stoller and Jason Segel. GHTTG is a hilarious comedy following Aaron Green (Jonah Hill), playing a completely new character a few years later when he is somehow working in the music industry. He receives the almost impossible mission of escorting British rock god Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) to LA’s Greek Theatre for the first stop on his tour.
