Film Review: Glass

Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass follows on from 2017’s Split as Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) and the multiple identities who reside within him have taken more girls hostage. Using his supernatural abilities, 2000’s Unbreakable David Dunn (Bruce Willis) is trying to track him down. When both are arrested and sent to a psychiatric hospital run by Dr Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson), they meet the wheelchair-bound Mr Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) who holds secrets critical to both men.

Film Review: After Earth

The return of director M. Night Shyamalan after three years, After Earth follows Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his father Cypher (Will Smith) who, after a crash landing, are left stranded on Earth a millennium after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash.
