Written and directed by Luc Besson, Lucy follows a woman (Scarlett Johansson) who, accidentally caught in a dark deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic, when a drug inside her body allows her to use 100% of her brain. With the help of Professor Norman (Morgan Freeman), Lucy needs to find out what her new ability means and if it can be stopped before it takes over completely.
Directed by Wally Pfister, Transcendence is a sci-fi thriller that follows Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp), the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence. As he works toward his goal of creating an omniscient, sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions, his highly controversial experiments make him the prime target of anti-technology extremists, who will do whatever it takes to stop him. But with few options left, Will wants to become a participant in his own transcendence, to establish a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain. For his wife Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) and best friend Max Waters (Paul Bettany), the question is not if they can help Will., but if they should.
Written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, The Lego Movie focuses on an ordinary Lego minifigure (voiced by Chris Pratt) who finds himself helping a resistance stop a tyrannical businessman (Will Ferrell) from gluing everything in the Lego world into his vision of perfection.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, Now You See Me follows an FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) and an Interpol detective (Mélanie Laurent) in a game of cat and mouse, as they track a team of illusionists known as The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco) who pull off bank heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances and reward their audiences with the money, while always staying one step ahead of the law.

The final instalment to Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises picks up eight years after the attacks of The Joker and Two-Face from 2008’s The Dark Knight when a new terrorist leader, Bane (Tom Hardy), overwhelms Gotham’s finest, including Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) and Detective Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). When jewel thief Selina aka Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) threatens that a storm is coming, Bruce Wayne a.k.a the caped crusader that is Batman (Christian Bale) must resurface from his years of solitude to protect a city that has branded him an enemy. With Bane intending to destroy everything that Bruce has his name to, he must enlist the help of his butler Alfred (Michael Caine) and his business manager Fox (Morgan Freeman), and put his trust in a new colleague Miranda (Marion Cotillard) to rise again.

Christian Bale has been talking about where the final chapter of Chris Nolan’s Batman trilogy will take his character of Bruce Wayne this week, as confirmation is given that the sequel will take place eight years after the events depicted in The Dark Knight.
From the sounds of it, Bale will be going to some very dark places, posing the question to his fictional alter-ego, “How long will you let the pain and loss define your life?” when talking to Aceshowbiz.

Writer of Wanted, Derek Haas has been busy tweeting getting our hopes up for a sequel of the 2008 action film starring James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.
Loosely based on Mark Millar‘s comics, McAvoy played the character of Wesley, an average guy who was being cheated on by his girlfriend and working in a dead-end job with a bitch of a boss. Soon enough, he was taught to bend bullets and flip cars in slow-motion a mysterious Fraternity.
The film achieved a box office take north of $300m so a sequel was always on the cards. It has now been confirmed through Empire that original screenwriters Haas and Michael Brandt have been re-hired to start working on Wanted 2.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994), directed by Frank Darabont and written by Steven King, is number one in IMDB’s top 250 films of all time.
The Shawshank Redemption is about the harsh reality of serving a prison sentence; from fights behind closed doors and propositions in the shower room to the manipulation of authoritative figures. The story focuses on the friendship between Andy (Tim Robbins) and Red (Morgan Freeman ) and how such a bond can help a man get by in these depressing surroundings, giving a deep message built on the foundation of hope.
