TV Review: Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic) – Season Eight

The eighth and final season of Sky Atlantic‘s Game of Thrones aired from April until May, consisting of only six episodes. Written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, the latest season brought the franchise to an end, seeing the conclusion of the franchise’s two main conflicts: the Great War against the Army of the Dead – with many of the main characters converging in Winterfell with their armies to take on the Night King – and the Last War for control of the Iron Throne – as the characters return to King’s Landing in an attempt to unseat Queen Cersei Lannister as the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

Film Review: X-Men – Days of Future Past

From the director of X-Men 1 and 2, Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past sees the ultimate X-Men ensemble fight a war for the survival of the species across two time periods. As the characters that began our X-Men infatuation from the original trilogy of films – Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen), Storm (Halle Berry), Kitty (Ellen Page), and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) – join forces with their younger selves from the excellent prequel X-Men: First Class – Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and Beast (Nicholas Hoult) – when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent back in time, they must change a major historical event and fight in an epic battle that could save both humans and mutants.

New Image and Magazine Covers for HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’

Earlier this week, Entertainment weekly visited the set of HBO’s epic fantasy series, Game of Thrones, in Croatia to interview the producers and cast, and then to Belfast to snap some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos.

EW asked the cast how the Thrones team pulled off the second season, what fans can expect it, and what to do to catch up if you didn’t manage to see the first series.
