It’s that time again and with a host of new trailers released over the past two weeks I’d be surprised if you can’t find something to enjoy from this week’s feature. With a first trailer for Steven Spielberg’s latest film, Lincoln, and a number of roles for Oscar winner Christopher Walken, we also have the first look at an adaptation of the fantasy romance novel Beautiful Creatures and a Sundance winner about getting Smashed and then sobering up. So let’s get started.

With the Toronto International Film Festival kicking off in just over a week we’ve been able to see quite a few trailers for some highly anticipated films this week. From an adaptation of a Charles Dickens classic to a comedy about dog napping, we have many great roles to showcase in this feature, including seven brilliantly cast psychopaths, Joseph Gordon-Levitt on a bike, Napoleon Dynamite as a serious lawyer, Vanessa Hudgens pole dancing, and Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother seducing the beautiful Elizabeth Olsen. I think this has to be one of my favourite round-ups of new film trailers this week, with the promise of some brilliant looking films set to be released over the following year. With the exciting teaser for Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel and a spectacular first trailer for the upcoming adaptation of David Mitchell’s highly acclaimed novel Cloud Atlas, we also have a couple of trailers for some of this year’s Sundance’s favourites including Ry Russo-Young’s moving Nobody Walks and Leslye Headland’s very funny Bachelorette. This really is a great collection of film trailers this week and I hope that by the end of this feature you are left just as excited for nearly all of them as much as I am!

It’s that time again, and this week we have a couple of great new trailers, but not a lot more. With the release of highly anticipated trailers involving characters such as the classic Jay Gatsby and the provocative but vigorous James Bond, as well as a certain Channel 4 news anchor and his pals. Other than that though, it is very much a week for first trailers for film’s you are likely not to of heard much about unless you have attended the Cannes Film Festival this month. Still, it is a very interesting look at what cinema will have to offer over the rest of the year.

It hasn’t been a very busy fortnight for film trailer releases in this week’s feature, but the few picks that we do have include a number of excellent first trailers for some already highly anticipated films. With the first sequences of footage from Rian Johnson’s upcoming thriller Looper, to a remake of the 1990 film Total Recall, we even have a glimpse of the astounding Woody Allen’s latest film To Rome With Love, as well as the latest role from the stunning Michelle Williams in the romantic drama, Take This Waltz. From this – albeit small – collection of trailers this week, we’re sure in for some great cinema later this year.

Ready for some more trailer news? The weeks never seem to disappoint as this week we have even more long-awaited trailers, including that for Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, the latest Men In Black instalment, and for Walter Salles’ latest film, On The Road. This week is also a brilliant week for comedies, with a funny new trailer for What To Expect When You’re Expecting highlighting the male cast of Chris Rock, Thomas Lennon, Rob Huebel, and Rodrigo Santoro, but also with a less funny trailer for Adam Sandler’s latest film, That’s My Boy, which stars Lonely Island star Andy Samberg. Nevertheless, don’t let that turn you away.
